qué poder me hizo quererte
para hacerme sufrir más?
Siempre fuiste la razón de mi existir;

qué poder me hizo quererte

qué poder me hizo quererte
para hacerme sufrir más?

Last Train to Istanbul

A young Turkish woman falls in love with a Jewish gentleman. They got married in Istanbul city, Turkey but their parents are against their marriage so they left Turkey and moved to France. Although they were happy with their little son in France, the Second World War began to affect European countries and that sweet family’s life style. There was last train to Istanbul. Would they get in that train or not?

In this new novel author Ayşe KULIN successfully follows through both the developments in her country (Turkey) during the Second World War and the lives of Selva and Rafael in Europe. I read this book. I would like to recommend you to read this historical novel.

Do u lose ur paradise?

I sometimes hated holidays, even as a kid. Such a waste of time, sitting on the beach, sunbathe, when you could be at home doing some interesting hobby (such as reading books) Then when I got married, we had on holiday, my wife insisted on dragging me off to South of Turkey or West of Turkey. Antalya, Fethiye, İzmir city etc. Bored the pants off me, till one day, sitting on an old stone beside the column of Assos, watching the tourists milling about, clicking their cameras, talking to each other in umpteen different languages, it suddenly struck me. Tourism is very good implement in Turkey. The only thing they have in common is they all enjoy the importance of seeing our spectacular artworks, and historical places. They love our paradise.

Whenever I travel I always make sure i visit the most important sights. Can you look at a few pictures below? How many of these sights can you really identify? Click on the picture below and if u want, you can print them out:).

The Inner Life of the Cell Animation

The video is really interesting and good that I wanted to use it in some of my English class. Maybe my students can use it for their presentations. Also there is background music which may explain the relevant biology. I do not know nucleic acids, enzymes, ribosome, kinesins and a few chains. I just read it (Biology) when I was a student at Ankara Anatolian High School, in Ankara city. I’ve forgotten most of them so let me ask my wife :)) I suppose that she’ll talk about it more than me.

If you are interested in Biology, pls click it and I think you have too wait for a few minutes or seconds. Sometimes it takes time. Have a good time.

photo competition of Starbucks Coffee

Why not? There must be a photo competition of Starbucks and I think photographers can contest for prize. If there is a photo contest of Starbucks all over the world, I'm sure thousand of photographers will join the competition lovely! Am I right or wrong? Photos can be related with Starbucks and its life around that city. For example, I live Ankara city (capital of Turkey) I have lovely photos, taken in Istanbul city, related with Starbucks Coffee. I hope some people will agree with me about that contest.

CERN Is any Turkish Scientist there? Yes or No?

Ankara Lisesinde okurken 1992-1993 yılında TÜBİTAK’IN açmış olduğu Liseler Arası Bilimsel yarışmaya girmiştim. Üç kategoride değerlendirme yapılmıştı. A, B, C idi.

Warwick Avenue

Where is Warwick Avenue? Do anyone know that? Whose favorite song? is it yours, Emmy? :) She's crying...
She's talking about being on the train and it departs and she wishes it had never come in the first place, but...

When I get to Warwick Avenue
Meet me by the entrance of the Tube
We can talk things over a little time
Promise me you won't stay by the light
When I get to Warwick Avenue
Please drop the past and be true
Don't think we're okay just because I'm here
You hurt me bad but I won't shed a tear
I'm leaving you for the last time, baby
You think you're loving but you don't love me
I've been confused outta my mind lately
You think you're loving but
I want to be free Baby you've hurt me
When I get to Warwick Avenue
We'll spend an hour, but no more than two
Our only chance to speak once more
I showed you the answers, now here's the door
When I get to Warwick Avenue
I'll tell you baby, that we're through
I'm leaving you for the last time, baby
You think you're loving but you don't love me
I've been confused outta my mind lately
You think you're loving but you don't love me
I want to be freeBaby you've hurt me
All the days spent together, I wish for better
But I didn't want the train to come
Now it's departed, I'm broken hearted
Seems like we never started
All those days spent together, when I wished for better
And I didn't want the train to come
You think you're loving but you don't love me
I want to be freeBaby you've hurt me
You don't love meI want to be free
Baby you've hurt me.
